Pulpo Gallego - Galician-Style Octopus

Pulpo Gallego - Galician Style Octopus

"Pulpo Gallego" as the name implies is from the region of Galicia, but this dish is a very popular appetizer in bars all over Spain today. If you have never tried octopus, you would be surprised at the soft texture and mild flavor. The octopus must be boiled until soft, which can take an hour. However, if you can purchase boiled octopus at an ethnic food or gournet food store, this will reduce the preparation time of this dish to about 15 minutes.
