Alubias con Arroz

Saturday September 15, 2007

The Spanish eat lots of bean dishes, particularly garbanzo, broad and faba beans. Beans are low in fat and full of nutrients like calcium and potassium, not to mention fiber. This bean dish can be made with pinto, black or pink beans. It is a simple, flavorful dish that contains no meat. Served with rice, it makes an entire meal in a single bowl!
