Sopa de Pollo con Fideos - Chicken Noodle Soup
We don't know anything better than hot chicken soup on a cold winter day! It seems that no matter where you are, chicken noodle soup is a favorite - and that includes Spain. So, forget Campbell's and make your own chicken soup seasoned with celery, carrots, onions and bay leaves. Add angel hair pasta and you have tasty chicken noodle soup.
Yesterday we had the biggest winter storm that this part of California has seen in a few years. Driving rain and wind gusts as high as 60 miles per hour caused trees to topple, limbs to fall and huge power outages. Luckily, even though we were without power for over 12 hours, we could heat up our soup with the gas stove.
