Sorbete de Vino Rioja - Rioja Wine Sorbet

Wine Sorbet, or in Spanish sorbete is very colorful, making a festive and delicious dessert on any evening. Instead of serving the sorbet in a small dessert bowl, try a scoop in the bottom of a champagne flute, then splash some Spanish cava over the top and watch your glass be transformed into a sparkling and brilliant pink party drink!

Note on Food Safety: The sorbet is made with raw egg whites. Be sure to check the dairy section of your supermarket for pasteurized egg whites or pasteurized eggs. That way you'll be sure to make "safe" sorbet. Pasteurized egg whites come in a small container ready to whip, making the recipe even simpler.
