Spanish Easter Menu - Domingo de Pascua

Saturday March 8, 2008

Chuletas de Cordero con Patatas Fritas - Lamb Chops and Fries

Easter or Domingo de Pascua for the Spanish is a day to go to church service and spend the Sunday with family. As with any celebration in Spain, there is a large meal and what is in season at the time is what you will see on your plate. Fortunately, spring is the time for lambs, so the Easter meal will generally have lamb as the main course if you are on the Iberian Peninsula (as opposed to Spanish islands).

We've put together a Spanish Easter Menu for you, including salad, vegetables, potatoes, lamb and a special dessert, crema catalana.
