An Easy Tapa - Fried Anchovies - Anchoas Fritas
If you've ever been to Spain to tapear or tapa-taste, you've probably seen fried fish, more specifically, fried anchovies. Crunchy, fried anchovies or in Spanish anchoas fritas are a popular tapa in Spain because they are so tasty. Especially popular in the north of Spain in the Basque Country (el Pais Vasco), they are quick and easy to make. Served with green salad and rustic bread, they can also double as a main course for dinner.
