Ready for a Simple New Dessert? Creamy Spanish Apple Tarts

Tuesday November 11, 2008

Creamy Spanish Apple Tarts

Light, flaky crust on the outside... creamy and sweet, but a bit tangy from the apples on the inside. Delicious!

Have you ever walked by a pastry shop window and seen those cute little individual apple tarts and wanted to serve them at a dinner party? Well, how about making them yourself?! This recipe is quick and simple, especially if you have or can borrow a peeler-corer-slicer. Make them in the morning and refrigerate until dinner. Bring them to room temperature, or warm in a warming drawer and serve with a dap of whipped cream or ice cream.
