Are you Brave Enough to Try Patatas Bravas?

Wednesday November 11, 2009

Bravas Potatoes - Patatas Bravas(c)

Patatas Bravas or Bravas Potatoes are one of Spain's most popular tapas, among Spaniards and tourists! They tied for third place in our recent reader poll of favorite tapas. The great thing about bravas is that not only are they very tasty, they are quick and easy to make! You can make the spicy tomato sauce while the potato chunks are frying. Put the potatoes on a plate, drizzle the sauce over the top and serve the toothpicks.

Holiday Party Tip: Double or triple the recipe, making the sauce a day ahead and refrigerate. Warm the sauce while potatoes are frying, then serve.
