Are you looking for a casual dinner idea for Valentine's Day, or do you simply want to prepare an authentic tapas dinner? Putting together a tapas dinner isn't difficult, but we know that there are too many choices! That's why we've put together a simple tapas dinner menu in a photo gallery, complete with links to each recipe. The centerpiece is the tortilla de patata, or Spanish omelet with a baguette. Add Spanish chorizo sausage, Manchego cheese (or another Spanish cheese) and sauteed green peppers. Open a can of marinated mussels, cockles, sardines, calamar, or another canned Spanish seafood delicacy, and you have a complete meal. Finish with a flourish by popping open a bottle of cava and breaking out pieces of turron candy.

your tapas suggestions are very good…especially the “tortilla de patata”. i make it often! i always like to have at least one raw vegetable w/ my meals, so i would include a plate of sliced tomatoes, onions & cucumbers. dressed simply w/ oil, vinegar & salt& pepper. thank you for all of your wonderful tips, recipes & good wishes..buen provecho!
