Nevados, Nevaditos Spanish Cookies

These rich and flakey cookies are called nevados, which would loosely translate to "snow-capped mountains" in Spanish. In looking at the photo, I think you can guess why. Nevadosare shortening-based cookies, easy to make, and are not too sweet. Best of all, I bet you have all the ingredients in your kitchen pantry already.
