Summer Tapas Party Menu & More

It's hot, and it seems that everyone is cooking outdoors on the BBQ, but standing over the grill just makes us hotter! We have another idea - Prepare a menu of cold tapas instead. You won't miss the heat of the BBQ, and since all the dishes can be prepared ahead, you'll have more time to enjoy talking to your guests. Finish with a Rioja Wine Sorbet, or Cava, Spanish sparkling wine!

Summer food safety is important! Remember to keep food chilled in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve, and have plenty of ice on hand to keep food cold on the outdoor buffet table. The USDA recommends that in weather above 90 F, food should not be out of the fridge for more than 1 hour. If it is, don't risk illness, just throw it away!
