Asturian Beans with Clams Recipe - Fabes con AlmejasIf you follow us on our blog, Facebook or Twitter, or subscribe to our newsletter, you know we took a working vacation to Spain, and tasted our way through the region of Asturias! The Principado de Asturias is well known for the high quality seafood, milk and cheese, as well as beef from the province. In addition, Asturias produces a kind of large white beans, called fabes that have a smooth, creamy texture. This dish, Fabes con Almejas is a popular dish all over Asturias, with both Asturian and visitors alike.

I prepared the Garlic Shrimps recipe today and it was really good. I used martini instead of dry cherry liqueur and it turned out great! I want to write a review in the recipe, but the system does not allow me to do so… writing positive reviews should be easier!
