Caramelized onion sauce is very simple to make, that is sweet and sour. It is perfect for meat, fish and poultry. How is it prepared? By simply sautéing julienne slices of onions, then adding sugar and balsamic vinegar. If you like it, try making a double recipe, and then saving it to use with leftovers, or to have on hand for simple broiled fish or grilled meat.
