Logrono is the capital city of La Rioja, the most famous wine region of Spain. It celebrates the annual grape harvest each September with a traditional Fiesta "San Mateo" (St. Matthew). From September 20 to 25, 2013 the people of Logrono have been watching grape stomping, drinking lots of fantastic wine accompanied by incredible food, including chops grilled over dried grape vines (which give the meat a special flavor). For a closer look at the festivities, we've included links to web pages of the festival.
