Cuba Libre with Licor 43 Recipe

Lots of people enjoy a “Cuba Libre” or rum and cola, but add a bit of Spanish liqueur called Licor 43 to for a bit of Spanish style to this tropical drink. Serve it to your friends and they’ll be asking what your secret is.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Ice cubes to fill a 12 oz glass
  • 1 oz Licor 43
  • 1/2 oz rum
  • 8 oz cola drink
  • lemon juice
  • 1 slice lemon for garnish

Preparation:

This Cuba Libre or rum and cola recipe makes 1 serving.

Fill a 12 oz glass with ice cubes. Add Licor 43 and rum to the glass. Fill glass with cola. Squeeze a bit of lemon juice in glass and garnish with lemon slice. Stir to mix.
