Making Tigres - Gather All You Will Need

This recipe will serve 4-6 persons as an appetizer.

Gather the ingredients that you will need to make the tigres:

  • 2 lbs. Mussels, cleaned
  • 2 Large Cloves Garlic
  • 3-4 Tbsp Butter or Margarine
  • 1/3 cup Flour
  • 1 Medium Onion
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 4-5 Tbsp Tomato Sauce
  • (optional) 1/2 Tsp Hot Peppers Flakes or 1/2 Small Hot Pepper, such as a Jalapeño
  • 1-2 Eggs, Lightly Beaten
  • Bread Crumbs
